What better time to receive loving, compassionate touch than at the end of one’s life? This 30-hour comprehensive course prepares the massage therapist to understand death and dying, hospice care, scope of practice, roles and boundaries, and meeting the individual where they are in their dying process. Safety for the client and therapist, contraindications, precautions, demonstration and skills practice are taught. *A live Practicum on the 4th day is offered in a nursing facility.  This class also includes preparation for the NEDA Proficiency Exam and earning the NEDA Proficiency Badge.
